About The Artist

Education and Professional experience

For the last twenty years I have exhibited my work in many Sculpture shows, competitions, and have had several one man shows in the Greater Washington, DC area. I have also continued to create specific sculpture commissions and installations for different indoor and outdoor sites in museums and private collections. I received a Masters of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Georgia. I was a double major in the Sculpture and film and prior to that received a B.A. Art from LaGrange College.  After completing my MFA graduate work in Sculpture I was awarded a one year Ford Foundation Art Scholarship to continue my  Sculpture work in Italy. Following my studies abroad, I accepted a lecturer’s position at the University of Maryland in the Fine Arts Department for six years. I went on to secure a position as the team leader for exhibition/ design for the National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. I had the opportunity to expand my design and film applications under this appointment with the Smithsonian Institution of American Art.

In 1990 I established Image Studios Productions a full service film and video documentary production company. In conjunction with my documentary film work I expanded my passion for photography to include a variety of artistic, professional, and commercial works in both black & white and color.

My client list includes but is not limited to National Geographic International, The National Gallery of Art, The Hirshorm Museum, The National Museum of American Art, The National Zoo, The Tennessee Aquarium, Africare, The World Bank, GEF, and The United Nations Foundation. Being a professional photographer and producer/director has allowed me to continue my artistic passion for exhibiting my sculpture and creating and designing outdoor sculpture commissions. I have also been fortunate to direct and produced a succession of award-winning film projects, which has given me the opportunity to manage and oversee large production budgets with complex deliverables within specific delivery dates.

I am currently residing in Versailles France.  e-mail -  and
